  • Most insurance companies cover most birth control options, but depending on the provider, different companies only cover certain brands.

  • To learn more about what your plan covers, look on your insurance company's website for specific information.

What if I don't have insurance?

  • For individuals without insurance, there are clinics and non profit organizations that can provide discounted services.

  • University health centers, city health centers, and family planning clinics also have options though it should be noted that it is more difficult to gauge if they will be available and what the cost may be

  • Access to free birth control can also depend on income, only certain individuals qualify
